Partner of the Diaper Bank of North Carolina
Currently, PEERS' partnership with the Diaper Bank of North Carolina allows us to provide diapers to 200 children per month, and a package of wipes for each child we serve through the Diaper Bank. Please call us to see if we still have diapers available in your size! Follow our Facebook page to find out of Diaper Bank days each month.
TASCO
TASCO aims to eliminate child abuse and neglect through education, awareness, intervention, and advocacy in Onslow County so children may grow up in healthy, safe, stable, and nurturing environments.

Adverse Childhood Experiences
Understanding ACEs can help with understanding what may happen in childhood can impact emotional, mental, and physical health well into adulthood. Learn more about ACEs, toxic stress, and tools to build resiliency for ourselves and our children.
Trauma Informed Care
Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma and promotes environments of healing and recovery rather than practices and services that may inadvertently re-traumatize. PEERS works every day to implement trauma informed care into our agency's practices, and to increase awareness of the impacts trauma has on individuals and our community.
Community Outreach
PEERS has helped hundreds of families through the outreach program. This includes providing car seats, pack n' plays, diapers, wipes, and baby formula. We are expanding our outreach program to also include hygiene products!
PEERS partners with other agencies in their outreach efforts as well including United Way, Onslow County CHS, and other local agencies.
Safe Sleep
Please call us if you would like to speak with a staff member about safe sleep and how you can practice this in your home.
If you do not have a safe place for your child to sleep and you have a social worker, please have your social worker call PEERS. If you do not have a social worker, and your child does not have a safe place to sleep, call us and we will see if we can help!
Car Seat Safety
PEERS has two certified child passenger safety technicians, Jin and Sam. If you have a special needs child, Sam is also certified to check special needs car seats, and is the only special needs car seat technician in Eastern North Carolina.

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
Since 1998, NCMEC has operated the CyberTipline, a place where the public and electronic service providers can report suspected online and offline child sexual exploitation.
NetSmartz is NCMEC's online safety education program. It provides age-appropriate videos and activities to help teach children be safer online with the goal of helping children to become more aware of potential online risks.
