What are ACEs?

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are serious childhood traumas that can impact brain development, affecting learning, behavior, and social skills. These early experiences can also contribute to long-term health challenges. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recognizes ACEs as one of the most significant public health issues of the 21st century.
